Volunteering
Community service, outreach, mentoring, and the lessons I learned from giving back.
MTB Trail Work
Throughout my high school years I helped build some awesome trails, features, and repair various items for the MTB trails in San Luis Obispo. I volunteered for the City of San Luis Obispo Parks and Recreation mainly in the summer and fall. This was a trail where my entire family actually helped out to build and has now been a path that runners, bikers, and hikers have enjoyed for over five years. If you would like some more photos, just contact me via email!
Robotics Mentoring
The school team at San Luis Obispo High School was revived due to the commitment, passion, and energy that I brought. After Covid-19 the club was starting out brand new and needed new leaders that were dedicated in the coming years. I stepped up and helped mentor three-four teams at the school for my Junior and Senior years. These teams went on to learn engineering, programming, and design skills that they would not have learned otherwise. Some of them also managed to win awards and compete at the state championship level for California.
